ELBOW INJURIES
Elbow Dislocation
Also not that common... it does still happen. The injury happens when the bones of the elbow are forced out of place and is VERY painful.

Patients will typically have an MRI to assess the level of injury and might need to see a specialist. Most will wear a brace to allow healing of structures. Once cleared to start treatment, physio helps to increase ROM, improve strength and return to activity plan.

Ligaments help to keep joints stable and when injured hat can be stretched or torn. Common causes can include: falls, landing on outstretched arm, contact sports or possible heavy lifting.

Some people may have to wear a brace to assist in healing of the ligaments. Physio helps to increase ROM, improve strength and return to activity plan.
